Several reports indicate that Generation Z is highly receptive to and actively learn from humor. Youth Comedy Night is intentional on telling funny stories, Improv scenes, Sketches, and Stand-up comedy that weaves in the gospel, leading the students to actively listen and understand the gospel.

Gen Z has a strong interest in live stand-up comedy shows. Not only is stand up comedy online watched most by Gen Z over other generations, but Gen Z, on average, attended four live comedy shows last year, which is twice the average attendance compared to other age groups. This is an event that High Schools would on average help spread the word on.

Our Vision
Youth Comedy Night was Created by Award-winning Comedian and previous Youth Pastor, Chris Wineland with one vision in mind: To share the gospel with as many teenagers and young people as possible. Comedy creates an authenticity and genuineness that Gen Z in particular crave. By using the power of Stand up comedy, Youth Comedy Night helps students to let their guard down and be honest with where they stand with God.
In addition to having a heart for students, Youth Comedy Night and Chris Wineland are extremely passionate on helping Youth Groups grow their engagement among their community. Youth Comedy Night strategically helps Youth Groups survey if a student already has a youth group or if they are looking for a youth group near them, where they stand with Jesus, and if they made a decision that night to surrender their life to Christ.

We recommend partnering with at least three youth groups to maximize impact and share the experience!
3. Pay a Small Non-Refundable Deposit
This deposit covers lodging, advertising, and technical needs. It can be split between the youth groups to keep costs low and budget-friendly.
4. We Handle Ticket Sales
Tickets average $10 per person, with group discounts and early bird options available. Ticket sales help cover the event costs and support the mission of Youth Comedy Night.
5. Get a Full Promo Toolkit
We’ll provide you with everything you need to pack the house — including a marketing strategy, email templates, and social media graphics.
6. Show Up & Enjoy the Night
On the night of the event, you get to relax and enjoy time with your students. We’ll run the show! All we ask is for one audio/lights volunteer from your church to assist with tech.
